Diving into impenetrable heavens above
Eye couldn’t help itself
But wonder
So was I ever lying to you
Dear evening
Straight to your face
Just like He claims
That people do
Or
Have I ever wasted you
Dear morning
Let it be
By will
Laziness
Or just in a plain mourning
Of my life
Skies hesitantly copied time
Windy
And yet speechless
Just like my mouth
Magnifying life
Only to children
To feed those sparks
Growing in their eyes
Yes
They blew me away
And in return
I blew off whole galaxies
As mere stardust of yesterday
With a breath
That of truth
When adults
Was it ever wrong?
Had to be
For His voice
By definition deflowering
By sensation its complete opposite
Haunted me in my dream
Turning the above
Into a giddy song
